Clashes between dads and teens happens. That’s not news, but what happens when your argument goes too far, when you confide too much in your teen and you feel like you have lost their respect forever? If you have been in this situation and redeemed yourselves in your teen’s eyes, we want to hear from you!

• C’mon dad, share the magic and let us know how you saved face in front of your teen.

• Did your experience of your teen momentarily distrusting you, eventually deepen your relationship?

• What did your teen tell you about how they had been affected by the situation?

• What can other dads do to prevent this experience in the first place?

• Do you remember being a teen and distrusting your parents? Did you use that experience to help you resolve the circumstances with your child?

The Good Men Project is different from most media companies. We are a “participatory media company”—which means we don’t just have content you read and share and comment on but it means we have multiple ways you can actively be a part of the conversation. As you become a deeper part of the conversation (Which really is “The Conversation No One Else is Having), you will learn all of the ways we support our Writer’s Community—community FB groups, weekly conference calls, classes in writing, editing platform building and more.
